cpu underclock

i have an i7-930 and in system, it display that it is only clock at 2.65, so underlock. im a noob at this and i read some forums and they said to increase cpu multiplier to 12. how do i do this in e-leet? do i increase qpi and pci-e? also, i only have 4 gb usable out of 6 gb. i cant figure out why this is happening, can the cpu being underclock cause this?

Not sure about your underclocking issue.


As far as your ram, what kind of OS are you running? Windows Vista and 7 in 32 bit format only recognize 4 gigs of ram regardless of how much physical ram chips you have installed. Windows versions in 64 bit supports: home basic: 8gb, home premium: 16gb, professional: not too sure.

the way you find your type is you right click "my computer" it should be in that menu
