CPU upgrade

CPU upgrade?

I was wondering if I could change my AMD V160 processor with this dual core one. I've done some research and they both have the same socket type, wattage, L2 cache, and CMOS. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron M5030 with 6 GB ram and Windows 7(64 bit). Is there anything else you guys need to know?

It may be possible, but the only way to be sure is to contact dell and ask them if it will support that particular CPU.
Also, though Ive heard some conflicting advice on it, it may take a fair bt of disassembly to get to your CPU.
