CPU Usage

Hey guys, i've been having the Core Temp's Desktop gadget in use for a while now, and yesterday i noticed that one of my cores are working harder than others (c2).
i did nothing on my computer while taking the screenshot (didn't have any programs running)
Is this normal? (haven't atleast happened to me before) and it's been going on since yesterday...

Other than this my thoughts on the Core Temp Desktop Gadget is that it's really nice (and after gaming you can see how hard your processor have been working).

95% seems a little excessive, but I would imagine it's normal that one core is more active than others on normal use. I doubt Windows switches the work load around much, if one core can handle it. But again, 95% is a lot.
Do you run any form of anti-virus? Could be scanning in the background.
If you don't (or if it hasn't detected it) it could be malware/virus. I would run a thorough scan with something else than Microsoft Security Essentials (:D)
Also check your Task Manager. You can sort all the processes running on your computer according to CPU usage. This might give you an idea of what is hogging the CPU power.
Edit: #666 post :)

I use IOBit's Malware Fighter and Advanced System Care, and i don't think they would be scanning for several days ;) but gonna run through Malware Fighter and ASC, then gonna see if it found something (probably not)..
