CPU Usage

hi people, two days ago i was noticing that the computer was slowing down a bit and i noticed that it was MSN Messanger 7.5 thas is causing the problem. does anyone have a solution for this prob ?

Does this happen all the time, or just every now and then? What CPU percentage is MSN Messenger using?

i'ts happening every time that i use msn, and it's always using between 93% and 97% of the cpu. than i just end the task and click on msn again to log in. but need to find the source of this problem. could it be that an msn registry is infected or something or other?

Have you tried uninstalling it, cleaning out the registry, and then reinstalling it?

I would use tune-up utilities 2006 to clean up the registry after uninstall.
