Crack in Lapto

Hi
I have a dell that has a crack on the outside bottom of the screen top.
When I close it it, the crack separates.
I wanted to know if the laptop gives off anything harmful to your health, like radiation.

Not enough radiation to make you grow another arm on your back. Although the screens usually have Hg in them which is mercury. Mercury was used in the past to clean hats made of certain matirials without harming them. However at the same time entering the blood stream of the person cleaning the hat which would cause them to get mercury poisioning, sometimes driving them mad. Hence the term "mad hatter."

I think you'll be fine.
