Cracked screen on HP G61-415SA

I'm more than willing to replace the screen myself but cannot find how to remove the plastic trim etc to do the replacement. So can anyone please walk me through the steps of getting to the laptop screen to replace it?

I'm pretty sure that you can just un-snap the trim until you get to the bottom. That's the only place there are screws (two of them; one on each side). They're hard to get to, but you might be able to wedge a screwdriver in there without taking the whole machine apart.

That's why I hate HP's and I refuse to work on them. I have my co-worker do them :)
 
I'm gonna let this one pass as I was only doing it for £40.00 as a favour to a friend of friend who'd been quoted 250 quid!! - I can see why now!!
