cracked tft screen

does anyone know if there is a way to fix, or patch up a cracked/broken TFT screen? or do i just have to send it in to the manufacture or have a repair shop repair it?

You can buy replacement ones... Is it for a laptop? They can get expensive though. Easy to replace.. about $250 for a 17" new.

yes, i have emailed palmedic, they said they can fix it, but it'll cost me roughly 89-99 + S&H. so thats basicallly a new low end palm.

no, i just sold the zire, its a SONY CLIE PEG-TJ37

well, i am not willing to pay approx. 100+ for a repair, i was able to find a new screen for less than half the cost, but i dont know how to repair it, they dont do repairs.

so my question now is:
does anyone know how to disassemble a cracked glass digitizer from a SONY CLIE PEG-TJ37?
