crazyness of defrags

so my comp has been going SUPER slow this last hour or so, so i opened up the defrag thing thinking maybe i needed it to speed things up

...the weird part is that i did a defrag maybe 2 days ago and everything was fine, but i just analysed my HDD and it says there are a TON of spots on the drive that are bad...like i said though i did it a couple of days ago and within 2 days how could it have gotten that bad...ughh...its taking forever to defrag it again...what could i have possibly done to make it so bad???
 
Like Tom suggest, you might have a drive going bad.

It is unusual to have it be ok then have alot of bad
sectors. I would suggest you backup anything important
to you off the drive immediately.

The fact that it slow and that it is finding bad spots is
probably a bad sign.
