CRC errors

Basically for quite a few months now i have been unable to install games from discs. Nearly every game i have is unable to install due to CRC errors, and this happens on both of my drives. I have tried updating firmware, unplugging the drives and plugging back in again, and i have also tried to method when you copy everything from the cd onto your pc and install from there. It still doesnt work, now do i have to dead drives? i can't believe both of them are dying, or do i have some sort of software problem. Any help would be great :D
 
CRC errors or cyclic redundancy check are normally associated with hard drives m8
you have any problems with them at all?

havent had any problems with my hard drives no, might look into it though see if i can find any errors at all on my hdd, ty
