Hi,
I want to submit a scientific paper to a journal.
They ask images to be provided as:
Here is an example of the image i want to obtain:

I am working with a CASE tool called Visual Paradigm. Unfortunately, I can't export TIFF files with it.
So, I do a print screen of the model and paste it in the Gimp, with the property of 1000 dpi. I resize the image and save it as a TIFF.
But, when I open this file with Microsoft Document Imaging or import it into Microsoft Office Word, the image is very small (2x0,7 cm !!!)
But my TIFF file sizes 804x279 for 876 Ko, with 1000dpi.
I don't know if my image is ok or not, if the size is al right or if the quality is ok.
Do anybody know what I can do?
Thank you very much and sorry for my english
