Creating slide show

What is the best and easiest way to go about making a looping slide show I can put on a cd and view on a dvd player?

You can use the Windows DVD Maker if you have Vista or 7. You can make the slideshow using that and burn it to a DVD using DVD Maker (not sure about a CD though, does it have to be a CD?) and watch it on a DVD player.

If you can't make the slideshow on DVD Maker, you can make one using Windows Live Movie Maker if you're on Vista or 7 (download it from Microsoft) or Windows Movie Maker if you're on XP. Any video editing software should be able to make a slideshow for you.

I have 3 different Brand DVD players from old to newer, and they all have the slideshow feature just built into the players. All you need is the pictures in some Folders on a CD, DVD, or a usb drive if the Player has one, and the DVD Player does the rest.

Power point for slideshows, then you can search the interwebz to find software to convert your ppx file into something else, if you want to . Movie maker is also a good option, but movie maker and power point handle their documents pretty different, so i'm really not sure which suits for you? If you are using tha cd's or dvd's on a dvd player attached to a tv, than movie maker seems like a better choive, otherwise, powerpoint all the way!
