Creative Fatal1ty USB Win 7 Issues

I just purchased this a few days ago, and after the initial installation, the sound is not up to par, and i'm SURE creative makes better hardware than this. It will not allow me to get into the Creative Audio Console, it keeps saying a device was not found, yet its in and working.

And i was told USB would be more reliable...

All drivers and software is up to date (for vista at least) 64-bit.

USB soudcard = Fail. Get a PCI or PCI-E one.. and sell the USB one.

Sorry, i forgot to specify, this is the gaming headset, not a sound card. I linked to the product in the original post.

many people get this problem. currently there is no known solution.

Why the hell would you get that headset in the first place, I have it and it sits in my drawer. Get a nice set of Turtle Beach X1's.
