Critisize this Rig Please

Also, most MOBO, inluding the one you listed and the one Monkeysim suggests have onboard Audio, so you don't need to add an audio card.

I would, Onboard sucks CPU cycles up to produce sound, I noticed a 10FPS drop from onboard Audio in my Comp as opposed to the Audigy I have in there now. Also, I would go ATi, but that's my taste. If you've had a good run with Nvidia, stay with them, they tend to sacrifice picture quality for sheer performance. If you do want to go ATi, Go with Sapphire, they rock! and get nothing less than an X850XT.

ATi doesn't have a clean record either, some games can look a bit wierd when Standard or Advanced A.I. is enabled in the drivers.

Sapphire tends to use noisy fans, but they might have improved the quality. I would say, get either
a)Radeon X1xxx
or
b)GeForce 7xxx
series of video cards. Don't even bother looking at any other cards.

Your mobo specs doesnt show an IDE but the cd drive is an IDE lol, should change that. the 754 pin would be better as a 939 pin. Never heard of the ram brand, not saying its bad but you might be able to find better from kingston or corsair. And the 6800XT good as the 7600GT? Look at the specs please, the 7600 crushes in almost all of them. If you dont know what any of those mean, the man who set this place up has an awesome thread that covers everything on anything in all the topics. That should explain it I think.

If you look at the motherboard picture, you can see two IDE ports.

Are you saying the 6800 XT sucks? It should be as good as the 7600 GT.

it goes like this
TC < XT< LE < GS < GT < GTX

What's the best case that I could add for this computer???
Thats a personal preference thing

Is this good??? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811156020
If that is good, total 445 dollars.
It's a bit dated now but the <$500 gaming computer i have in Computer Specs 101 is better

TC < XT< LE < GS < GT < GTX
That only applies with a family :)

If you're system is at a point were you can notice a 10fps drop as a major thing then you should be running with no audio as you have CPU bottlenecking issues

If you do want to go ATi, Go with Sapphire, they rock! and get nothing less than an X850XT.
Yes because the X850XT represents the most affordable solution....

You are right. The 7600 GT will outpace the 6800 you mentioned easily.
Unless the game is bandwidth limited..
