Can you crossfire a 2900gt and a 3800 series card?
I had a 2900pro i bought a new motherboard and 2900gt to go crossfire.
I built up the system but my 2900pro wouldnt work after rebuild, now i got a sapphire card, and the site for sapphire said RMA was through the retailer, no probs there i phoned ebuyer and it was picked up the next day.
Got a email telling me the the card was no longer getting made and there was none in stock so i got store credit (it was in manufacters warrenty but not ebuyers, so store credit was best i could do) plus 10% for my troubles.
Only thing is i now have a 2900gt (ok i suppose) instead of my pro, a crossfire board and money from ebuyer to spend on anything i want, ebuyer does have a 2900 gt but i really dont want to downgrade from my 1st card, the pro, what are my options here?
