cross fire or keep my 8800gt

I have just updated my M board to a Asus M3a79-t Deluxe which Is an ATI cross fire board.
I am currently running a XFX 8800 gt for a video card and It plays every thing on hi...
What would be the comparable card in the ATI feild or a better one or should i stay with my 8800gt.
Help would be appreciate

I would stick with the 8800gt. If you aren't happy with it and want to use a ATI card then at least upgrade to a newer generation ATI card (HD 4870 or even the 4850) that are significantly more powerful.
 
I just found that both the 4850 and the 4870 work well with my 790 fx chip set on my new mother board but Is it worth the money will I really see a difference...
 
depends. what games do you play? my 8800GT still serves me well in pretty much everything i get into. unless you are playing some very GPU intensive games like crysis, i'd say your 8800 still has a little bit of life left in it.
