Crossfire with different cards?

I just finished my first build, and landed on a bit of cash just after i assembled the computer. I have a Sapphire 4850, and am quite pleased with it. But, with the bit of cash, i want to add another graphics card. Will the Sapphire 4870 1Gb crossfire with the 4850? Another issue is the power supply. I'm pretty sure mine will power the 2 4850's, but not so sure about the 4850, 4870 combo if it works.

Same cards but not same manufacturer. A 4870 and 4850 will not work, although, just crossfire 2 4850's.
