Crosshair mobo with OCZ Platinum Revision 2 Question

Hello

This is my first time with AMD and I ordered a computer from cyberpower. I checked the manual for the crosshair that the OCZ 1gb sticks doesn't work with the motherboard. I would like to ask if anyone can confirm that it does work.

This is the mobo: http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=101&l3=300&model=1283&modelmenu=1

This is the OCZ Memories I am Thinking about getting: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227139

I know alot of people is going with the corsair XMS2 because they are having problems with the OCZ. If there is no solution for the OCZ to work then I would have to go with the corsair XMS2. If anyone could help me out that would be great. Any information would be helpful to me. Thank you all in advance for your times.

Thanks for your reply.

I read somewhere that it said asus tested the OCZ and it didn't work but I also been reading about if you manually set the timing and voltage it will work so I was wondering if anyone on this forum would happen to use the crosshair with the OCZ. Alot of people say OCZ are good memory but if it doesn't work with the crosshair my only option next to the OCZ are the corsair xms2. Is there any other brand you recommended beside OCZ and Corsair? Thanks again.

A lot of people use Mushkin, GSkill, Kingston and pqi. Patriot is ok too.

I don't think you'll have problems, if you do returning the RAM is an option or you can get a cheap stick to adjust BIOS settings.
