crt vs tft + lcd

crt has the highest resolution. tft lcds are smaller and generates less heat.

CRT's are actually the best for resolution and pixel response time (only matters for movie watching and gaming usually). The only reason why ppl like LCD's better is because they have brightview, take up less space, and use less power and produce less heat. CRT's last alot longer then LCD's do in the long run, and dont get dead pixels.

If they were both the same size, i would take a CRT over a LCD any day.

same here. ive seen too many cases of flickering, dead pixels, lines of color, liquid bleeding through, and bad headaches to use an lcd any more than i have to. theyre obviously good for one thing though; saving space and energy.
