CS: disconnects and shuts down

i deleted CS, redownloaded it ,now when i try to connnect to a server
the whole game will close after trying to download certain maps,it will download some maps.

why will it not dowload some maps and disconnect me and download others ?

edited/Added:it disconnects and shuts down on some servers and will work fine on others.
Also on the servers that it will connect to it will disconnect on some,not all, of the maps

Just reinstall it again, sounds like the last one was corrupted.

Yep, that is the one drawback to a download from the internet. Also you can download the maps seperately if you still get the issue. Most servers that have custom maps will give you a site where they have the maps, download it there and then just put it in the correct folder and you are good to go.

I know, but the download may have still been corrupted, try it again, or download the maps seperately like I said.
