CS lag w/ 17 ping

i'm getting wierd lag in CS and HL2 deathmatch. i'll start running then i t will freeze then after it has finish lagging it will flash up on the left the weapons i bought. my internet works fine. i'm on a wiered router.

Try using the net_graph 3 in console... Let me know what happens when you hit this lag. Do you have the current drivers for your video card?

The only thing I know to cause this is if you are on a wireless connection...

i'm getting good fps always above 50. when i play HL2 it is fine so i dont think it is a graphics problem. b/c it shows the weapons i bought when it lags i'm guessing there is some problem with the game it self not my computer. i didnt have this problem before the latest update. i guess it's the update. the problem is the game lags so often i can really play it.
