CS:S hackers, is there any way to get them banned?

Hiya, well basically what the title says ^ ^ ^.

I have Fraps Videos following some guy using speed hacks and an aim bot.

Shall I just not bother doing anything or is there something I can do to stop the hacker?

I know SS can not be used as evidence but just look at his score after about 10min of playing

 
Whom ever the admin is of server can ban him or if its a secure server its a matter of time before he gets banned from the game perm.
 
People make hacks quite often that aren't detected very soon but in time he will get caught. Just tell the ADMIN and get him observed.
 
Only had CS:S 3 days and have no bloody idea how to get back to the server so gues I can lol. Just my luck after 2 days of playing I encounter a hacker, is there really that many or was it just bad luck on my half?

It was probably just coincidence. I have only seen a few hackers, i usually play on the same servers where i know there arent any hackers.
 
VAC is a failure, sucks at detecting hackers. Plus there is nothing you can do to get his steam ID banned.

yes there is. you need to have proof though. you need to get his Steam ID and a demo of the person hacking and send it in. Also there are communities out there that make lists of people that hack so Admins can put their ip on thier ban list.

2. I would like to do something about it if I can because it pisses me off when trying to play a game and people come on using cheats. The more hackers are banned the less peoples games will be ruined.

It would be more suitable to address this problem in the forum of the server that you played on when this happened. Even the Steam forums may offer a chance of bringing punishment upon the hacker.
 
I just make sure I play on a server with a competent admin. And if there is no admin, I just get everyone to "voteban" :D

There is no way to get someone VAC banned. Read Valve's policy. They say that people can only get VAC banned if VAC catches them.. A VAC ban is permanent, so they can't just take every joe blow's words.

Valve said:
While server admins may choose to ban specific players, server admins cannot VAC ban players. The VAC system is automated - contacting Steam Support to report cheaters is not necessary, nor will Steam Support act on any information provided.

All VAC bans are permanent - Valve has a zero-tolerance policy for cheaters.

Steam Support cannot remove the ban on your account.

Regardless of whom was using your account at the time it was banned. The use and security of your Steam account is your responsibility.

i always play on the same servers where i know there are honest players....it is a lot of fun to play with the same guys over and over....

I've gotten plenty of demo footage of hackers and have sent it in to valve only for them to e-mail me back saying that there is nothing they can do to get rid of him...
