Cube cases

Well you need a Mini-ATX mobo for most of them, and Mini-ATX motherboards dont usually have all the best stuff, and when they do, theres less of it.

If you were getting a cube, I would reccomend one of the big ones you can get with loads of fans in it, cant remeber the website, I think it was a canadian place

I've been looking at cases all afternoon on newegg and nothing but those and a few others have caught my eye. I like the cube partly because it can fit on my desk, but fear it may limit me in the future with MOBOs and such. I definately don't want to short change myself for astetics.

The Aspire caught my eye along with a few clear platics cases and this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811156166

Yes, I know I'm probably being fickel, but I am trying to build my own system (slowly upgrading each component over time, partly for the fun of it and to see if I can) for the first time and I want a case that looks pretty cool, but is <$100.

Sorry for the ramble. Basically, I'm looking for advice on cases here. So if you have any ideas thanks.

well, you are right to be concerened about cutting yourself short if you get a cube, Mini-ATX mobos arent exactly made for speed and pure power. There are a larger range of cubes that fit normal ATX mobos but i cant seem to find them anymore. If you really are lokoing for the best case to fit componenets into then i wouldnt go for a cube, however they do look damn sexy, most of the Aspire-X range are pretty sweet. I personally dont liek clear cases, too untidy

How about the raidmax mustangs (linkabove) or the aspire x-gear cases (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811144042).

Can you get a good case for that price?

I hope the person that invented those little cases has to take the escalator to get up to hell.
They are cramped, overheat, and wait until you try to add a few things.
I have the Aspire XNavigator, lots of room six case fans, runs very cool, easy to clean, etc.
