cursor freezes?

I don't know what it is, but its like the mouse is fully operational, and it'll click for me just like normal... except for the fact that the cursor FREEZES i have no idea what's causing this but its getting to be a real pain, it happened like 2 times last night, and just now before i came here for help.
like, the cursor will be in the middle of the screen, but if i go to click the start bar it will do just that for me... but im like blind as to where the cursor is!
 
i scan like once a week and it never finds anything...
ad-aware se professional updated...
and symantec anti-virus corporate edition updated
 
I dont think it's spyware. I used to have a similar problem, with my mouse and keyboard. Try updating the USB drivers.
