You probably want to invest in a new Power Supply, the 350w included in the case probably is junk and will not give you too much security about the necessary power going to your components... just a thought.

any reason you have gone for skt754, its an old socket and amd will prob start phasing it out soon. Maybe think of moving up to a 939 for upgradability?

Mainy my budget, the 939 ones are expensive. I dont think i'll be upgrading for a few years, except for maybe ram etc. I know it maybe only a few ££ more but if i keep thinking that i will go way over budget.

a MSI neo2 platinum based on the nForce3ultra will run circles around that

lg l1715s 17" tft 16ms 450:1 (1280x1024) "non-glare" monitor - charcoal & grey (3 years on-site warranty)[x]
it may be a personal-preference/tolerance thing but 16ms may not be fast enough... just a thought :)

lg gsa4163 16x dvd dual layer r/rw/ram internal ide (silver) - OEM[x]
avoid lg like the plague (especially given the tight price spread)... have a look at CD/DVD 101.

Good call :)
