Custom Laptop Question

Hey wats goin on guys...this is my first postin on this forum...I wanted to get a notebook pc and i was talkin to a person i mod with on another forum...He said he can build me a custom laptop computer for $300...he said that the parts will be aftermarket so that he can keep building costs down..I was jus wondering wat u guys think about this...Please gimme sum feedback about this..He told me that he tests the computer and everything to test it out...Lemme know what u guys think about this please..Thanx this forum is koo..

idk the specs of the notebook yet...the parts will be all brand new and he is customly buildin the laptop...all the parts will be brand new...he said he is goin to use aftermarket parts i guess to keep the costs down..
 
well i think that i would be a bit wary 300 for a notebook with new parts. if it is like that, you will want somesort of warranty or something.
 
300? I'd say your off to a good start. It seems like he's hooking you up with a pretty good deal. If they are new parts.. it can't be anything too slow like a 333mhz or something.

But it'll be good for you to know the specs first. If not everything, atleast the cpu and memory. Then additionally with that if possible, the video card, hdd, laptop type, screen.. etc since it's custome built.

yea he said he is hookin me up with a good deal...bc if he didnt know he would sell for much more...no its gon be an up to date processor like p4 or sumthin he said...ill post the specs wen i get em
