Cutting a hole out in the case...

Is there any way I can cut out a hole in my case without using any electrical devices like dremels, drills, etc...? I tried using a sharp knife, and actually got pretty far with it, but it would take me over two weeks to finish cutting the hole out...:D So anyone have any better ideas?

So, I got one of these hacksaw blades, and started cutting, I'm only halfway done and already can't feel my hands...:D Anyone doing a window mod BUY AN ELECTRIC DREMEL (if you want to feel your hands on the next day :D)

Rotozip. They work well. Its a special bit for wood, plastic, metal etc. Works like a router. Just bigger than a dremel.

Thanks for the tip, but I already cut out the hole, using a screwdriver, a hammer, a hacksaw metal cutting blade, and some tape.

I want to install a window. So the hole will be a simple rectangle, something like 10 x 8 inches.

Wouldn't it be cheaper, quicker and safer just to buy a case with a window on it, I got mine with four lightup fans, more HDD and DVD Drive Space, and a usb front panel for £40?

Rotary zip makes a easy clean cut. Very handy for other projects too.
The tool you have will not cut the metal on the tower. To thick but time an place
for one. I have one of those also. I like the rotary though. Makes a perfect circle also or any other pattern.

What do you mean, it will not cut metal? I just did it, I made a hole in the side panel with a screwdriver, then cut out the rest of it with a hacksaw blade wrapped in tape so it didn't cut my hand. Finally I had to bent back any imperfections with a hammer, and do the finishing touches with a metal file. It actually looks very professional and I am really impressed with the result, when I get done with the case mod I'm going to make a thread about it with some pictures...

Saber saw ya mean. Yes. and again i was talking about without using the special tools like hacksaw etc. The tool we were talking is a nibbler. It would dull it quick. Its a nibbler. Never the less, ya got er done. Like to see it.
