I'm looking to order a new PC for my dorm room. It will be used mostly for games (Steam...) and music recording and editing. I've looked at two sites, IBuyPower and CyberPowerPC. I've heard IBuyPower is a very good site, good prices and great service. However, I'm wondering if CyberPowerPC is the same. Anyone have any knowlage of there service?

On another note, I won't be building my own, so I'm just looking for input from previous customers of these two sites. Thanks in advance,

- Tyler S.

We bought a PC from CyperPowerPC a few years back, they're a good company.

What type of Steam games are you going to play?

I play CSS, DODS and Insergency.

Was the computer overall easy to set up? This will be my first "gaming rig".

Well with me I had a defective motherboard that had to be reset via jumper every time you restarted the PC, but a new motherboard fixed it. Overall they are good, and they do a good job building the PC.

before deciding on a yellow inspiron i waas going to buy a yellow laptop from them the thing is around the same price as the inspirion except theirs is a low resolution 15 inch with inetegrated graphics. basically they make most of the money from designs.

one of my best friends bought one form them.... it came fine, and it has had no problems, except that they modify some of you OS options, and when it came in one of the ram sticks were loose, and wouldent boot... but just a little click, and it worked... if i won the lottery and had to buy like 30 gaming pc's, i would just order from them...

Check out resellerratings.com, they have customer review pages for almost all pc makers.

Digital Storm and Vigor are both waaaay above Cyberpower in customer satisfaction, but it comes with a price tag...

I chose Vigor and wasn't dissapointed.
