daisy chain routers

Hey guys, my main router is situated in the basement where my fios connection hooks up. However, because it's in the basement I get horrible signals upstairs. So my question is, is it possible to daisy chain routers, so I'll put "Router B" on the first floor that'll pick up the signal from "Router A" (the one in my basement) and boost it to the rest of my house.

If this is possible, how would I go about doing it?

thanks

Probably best off with buying a wireless access point and use it as a repeater.

Also yeah that should work what you want to do if the router has a repeater mode on it, have a look into the options.

I've seen some routers that are very picky when you try to inter-connect them. I'd go with a switch or a pair that can run DD-WRT. I know with DD-WRT you can connect two wireless routers together using wired and they will share the internet connection wirelessly.
