Will microsoft replace a damaged disk? contact info please.

Are you asking about the media, as in the XP CD? Or the actual hard drive? If it's the disc- there's a chance they will replace it, as long as it was damaged when you got it. If you're asking about the hard drive- then no, Microsoft does not replace damaged hard drives. I'm not sure if they will replace the media either- you can search Microsoft.com for answers to this question- unless someone specifically knows they will.

No MS will no supply you a new disc. You can download a copy via a torrent. As long as the OS has no be tampered with and then use your current serial key. But make sure it is the same version of windows!

Otherwise just a buy a new one.

^ Nope, as long as the image isn't tampered with, it's O.K. to download it, as it's not the disc you're paying for but the product key.
