My compputer is really buggin the crap outta me now. Every couple minutes it gives me 2 different messages. The first is this.
host process for windows services stopped working and was closed

and the other is a message about globalroot/systemroot/system32/gasfycbwhrmdt being unavailable.

Also, symantec accumulated ~30 threats that were "backdoor.tidserv"
any suggestions?

If not, is there any way to preserve the liscense on my Microsoft office? I have already used the liscences provided.

You only using Symantec anti-virus software? Try also downloading Spybot Search & Destroy and Malwarebytes anti-virus software. Run scans with both of these programs separately. I would install the software, update both of them and then run both of the scans in safe mode. If you don't know how to get to safe mode in Windows just ask.

First off IMO symantec is a virus in itsself.. its junk..

1)Try downloading hijack this and running a log for us..
2)Download and run ccleaner
3)Possibly download and run combofix
4)Get rid of symantec.. they have so many better free options avg, avast, and so on... post the hijack this log if you can so we can look at that for you..
