Dark Messiah Loading

Hi all,
I've recently purchased Dark Messiah and for multiplayer it takes close to five minutes for it to load. Single player is fine. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of how to fix it.
Don't ask about my specs, they are fine. I do have intel dual core if that changes anything. And I have the new drivers loaded in. (Saving the first couple posts that are always there.)

Ya, it takes a while for me to load it as well. Do you have the settings on high? I heard there was a glitch/memory leak where if you had the quality on high, it would take forever to load and/or freeze during game play.
 
I don't have them on extremely over doing it. I have them on suggested and maybe one that is above suggested. I'll try toning them down majorly and see if that helps out.

Try settings all the graphics qualities to medium with no AA, thats what I had to do with my old rig.
 
dark messiah is known for the glitches turning down the graphic settings should help other than that its a matter of waiting for a patch which will be downloaded when you boot the game up
 
Doesn't Steam patch up on itself?

And I'm going to try dumbing down now so we'll see if it works.
