I was asked an interesting question today by one of my friends. Can you make an MP3 CD that is Data? Now I know that either makes no sense or I'm saying it wrong. Where he works they a DXM or DMX music player and on the front of it there looks like a cd rom drive. Well his store plays pure crap music so I asked him why he does not put a different disk in and he told me that it will only play data disk, what in the world is he talking about?

So I was then asked to find out..................so :)

Yeah I'm as stumped as you are, but if he puts a normal disk in there whether its a bought CD or burned it will not play it

haha, so normal audio cd's don't play ? , men i have to say this is really an ODD Audio player, he probably thinks he is leaving in the 40's :P

Some HIFIs or other audio players have the function of being able to play MP3s directly from a CD, so instead of having to convert your songs to an audio CD for your HIFI to be able to play it, you can just put your MP3 files straight onto the CD as if you was just making a data CD and the HIFI, if it has the capability, should be able to play the audio files. Whats good about this that you can fit on loads more music onto a CD.
