Data recovery software?

Anyone recommend good freeware or even paid software that will recover data from an accidently formated hard drive?

Theres alot on google,but i want oen that people have tried and would recommend.

Try this one , it works perfectly and recover all the data even after the format: "RecoverMyFiles"

I use DataRescue II, which works on both PCs and Macs at work for recovering data. I have used it lots and it has done the job. It is made by Prosoft, and I can't tell you what it costs because my work bought it not me. I know it isn't free.
