data recovery software

few weeks ago i accidently deleted my collection of videos.Is there any good freeware file recovery software so that i can recover my lost files.Help needed soon.

I have a freeware program called "Drive Rescue" which work resonably well. PM me you email address and i'll send it to you.
Just remember not to use that hdd again untill you recover the videos otherwise you will damage the residue/deleted files. Also, when you use a recovery tool, tell it to recover/save the files to a different hdd than the one they are on.

Well it shows the deleted files but when i saved it,and try to play it in classic media player with all the latest codecs installed it does not play and shows a message which say cannot render the file.How can i make it play?

In the Drive Rescue window, did it say the file condition was Good or poor?
Also, did you make sure that you saved the files to a different HDD than the one you were recovering them from?

It says condition was good and i tried even in my ipod too.
