Intel_man VIP Member Aug 7, 2018 #2 If you know the serial number of the drive, you can go check the warranty status of the drive on their website (https://support.wdc.com/warranty/warrantystatus.aspx?lang=en) and it usually tells you the date of manufacture. Their diagnostic tool might show that same information as well.
