Greetings. This is my first post.
I have a problem with the Edit date and Create date in Windows Explorer Properties. If I create a file of any sort and save it, the create date is shown correctly in the Explorer file list. But if I open that file to view or edit it, the create date is changed to the same date as the edit date, so they are both the same. This is frustrating, as I then lose the date on which I created the file.
Can anyone tell me how to overcome this? Is there a setting that I can change to ensure that the create date remains correct no matter how many times I open the file?
