Dazzle and GeForce connected?

Hello all:

A coworker of mine has a Dell Dimension 8200 that came bundled with Movie Studio II. The PC came configured with a GeForce3 ti 500 and some sort of pinnacle systems card - it has two firewire and one connector that looks like it goes to the breakout box.

My question is in regard to an internal cable that connects the GeForce to the pinnacle card. What exactly is this used for? She wants to replace the GeForce3 with a Geforce4 fx 5700 or something like that, but most dont come with this internal connector.

Any ideas?

Cant remember what the internal connector is for but it's not absolutely critical if i recall correctly (i had them on my various TV cards but i dont think i ever bothered connecting them). Methinks it's for a hardware MPEG2 card but thats just me spitballing
