I'm a AMD lover...
right now I use P4 but everybody I know have AMD's...I know there aren't any mobos yet that have ddr2 slots with AMD CPUs, so my question is do I wait for that mobo, I mean, will I really fill the difference between DDR 400MHZ and DDR2 600MHZ ??

DDR2 operates at lower voltages.
And higher timings.

Right now, the difference in games with DDR400 and DDR2-667 is very minimal. Actually the DDR would most likely perform better since it has much lower timings.

DDR on AMD systems runs just about as fast as DDR2 because of HyperTransport which effectively doubles the bus bandwidth to 2000 Mhz. Add tighter timings to it and it becomes easy to understand why the best available AMD chips using only DDR are easily outrunning the best Intel chips using DDR2. it is expected that AMD's running DDR2 will see no real speed gains, that will come when AMD releases their DDR3 compatible chips.:)
