I'm a huge fan of the DDR games. (Dance Dance Revolution.) And recently theres been a new one released, but not be Konami. This game is called Dance Factory. Now the difference is that you put your own CD in and it takes the beat pumping out the steps for you to follow. Has anyone played Dance Factory? If so, would you recommend it?

I've always wondered what it'd be like to dance to some My Chemical Romance, or Metallica.... t.A.T.u and the such.

From the looks of it it's also for the PS2... but the problem there is that I need an official Konami dance mat for it to even work with the mats. For some reason the slim PS2's won't accept the third party mats by Mad Catz and the like, only the fat PS2's will...

Is there a way to make the third party mats work on the slim PS2's?

I liek the arcade better as well, gives a better feeling, but I like the fact that I can also play it at home without people snickering behind my back.
What difficulty are you, Yasu?

Standard with the occasional Heavy at the arcade because I don't want to waste my money, but I usually just play Heavy at home even if I some of the songs are incredibly difficult(MAX 300). I love taking my little brother to the arcade because he's usually better than most people, and he's only 8(he's about to become better than me).

What're your favorite songs? Some of my favorite songs are Daikenkai, all of Captain Jack's songs(R.I.P Captain), Break Down, Tsugaru, Butterfly, and few others I can't remember.

Butterfly, and well, I can't remember alot of names, I just pick and hope I can do them. I'm about, meduim Standard. (5 footer)
DieKenKai... my list is to long, that and I can't remember all.

Oh man, I wish I still did DDR somewhat as much as I used to. I was a fairly consistant seven-foot difficulty player and could do the occasional Heavy as well (Holic, for one). Haven't played nearly as much in the last couple years, can still do about 5 or 6, but not much higher, unfortunately (endurance isn't what it was... :))

My friend Simon is close to 10 footer on heavy, but more so clsoer to 7-8. He did beat Bag though on heavy - 9 footer.
