just saw a motherboard with 4 mem slots, and maximum of 8GB supported. but hey, are there any 2GB memory cards in this world??

i browsed the web and found only 2x1GB cards. like twins. but what if i want whole 9 yards in my system?? i need 4x2GB right?

yea, but its PC2 5300, and i'm afraid i need pc6400 aka DDR2 800 (cuz i'm looking forward to buy a quad cpu)

There are quite a few DDR2 800 2GB sticks around. Newegg has a few choices, and other sites have more to choose from as well.
