ddr2 800 and 667

Uhh........less heat?....I guess???? by about 1-2*F less?......No, there are no advantages what so ever. It bottle necks the CPU, programs take longer to lead, is slower, etc. so no, none.

was there really any need for being such a smart ass?????? he asked a question ffs, if your gonna be a dickhead then don't bother about posting....

Master Mind

Funny. You call me names and yet you fail to see your hypocrite ways. I say no bad things, and you, without thinking, come and try to insult me? ha. That's a laugh. I was mearly answering his question. If one does not know much about computer, do you expect one to know that this can bottle neck his CPU? That, or at least reduce the potential? And stating a few digress less in my manner was in no way to offend the guy. Bluntly giving an answer that it has not advantages is not bad. and yet, your the smart ass telling me I've done wrong, when YOU HAVE NOT EVEN ADRESSED HIS SITUATION OR TRIED IN THE LEAST TO HELP HIM! SHUT YOUR MOUTH AND WATCH WHAT YOU SAY! You wont have a problem doing this. You better not, or we may have a problem. And when i say we, I mean YOU. Watch it, if you surge my short temper as of now, things will get ugly between us. for yours and CF sake, SHUT IT.

Don't convert this shit into a flame war if you have a ****ing problem solve it via PM, don't take it into a public thread which doesn't belong to neither one of you

Your right. Let me be the first to be mature enough to say sorry. As for, well, you know, its his choice to be mature or not.

I doubt it would give off less heat.

If you buy DDR2-800 then it will just run at DDR2-667.

It can give you room to OC more (assuming the RAM is holding you back). Because you know the RAM will run at 800MHz, if you set it to 667MHz you know the RAM isn't the limiting factor until you pass 320MHz FSB.
