ok heres the deal.ive been in the market for a new vid card and ram for my setup.i have a agp8x foxconn board and a 9550...ne ways.
i have decided to leave agp in the dust and just go with a ati xpress200 mobo with pcie....i have my board and card picked out (the his x1600 iceq).
not the biggest thing to me is the whole thing with the ram because the board supports ddr and ddr2 as usual i am concerned on which way to go .i have searched and found that ddr2 has to sacrifice latencey for higher clocks but its alot faster than ddr.i am buying ram tommorow and i would really like to know if the better gamer ram would be the older ddr 400(pc 3200) or the new age ddr2 676(pc5400)?btw i currently have a 2.5 latencey on my current ram.they ddr2 i want has a latencey of 4.
