ddr2 dual channel

does it work the same for ddr2 as it did for ddr?
im building a new comp for my uncle and i want to know if i should get ddr2 667 or dual channel ddr2 533 (the 533 has CL 4 and 667 has CL 5)

Is that not just the frequency?(ie 667, 533)?
Im sure the 667 would be better although the mother board would have to support it.
What motherboard are you using?
