DDR2 in a DDR3 MB?

I was curious as to whether I could put my DDR2 RAM into a DDR3 MB?

I need to upgrade my MB, and would like it to be DDR3 so that I can also upgrade my RAM soon (can't right now).

So is this possible?

Ddr3 has a different notch on the pin section, the slot will be physically incompatible with ddr2, so nope.

You can get mothebroards that accept ddr 2 and ddr 3 , however you cant use 2 and 3 at the same time

Which MBs support both? I haven't come across any whilst browsing the manufacturer websites.
