DDR2 Prices?

Do you think that DDR2 prices will drop soon. I am cheap anyways :) so i kills me to pay a little over the doubled price for the same stick I bought not 5 months ago.

My stick $10 on Newegg now $26

What do you think?
 
It's only gonna go up as DDR3 will be the new standard these days. However, it will stop going up at a certain point.
 
been quite a few posts on this, new tech. means that old techh goes up in price, cause they want you to buy the new stuff.

So the answer is no, i would buy now, cause its only going to get higher.

DDR2 hit rock bottom between November 2008 and May 2009 in my opinion, since then prices have gone up, same thing has happened with every old RAM standard.

Agreed, DDR2/3 prices have already pretty much hit parity.
 
I disagree. NewEgg or other vendors (such as ZipZoomFly.com and Mwave.com) may have some Black Friday sales on RAM coming up. I would wait until then to purchase and see what sales come out.
