DDR2 works on AMD?

I have read now for a while on this forum about how DDR2 doesn't work when using an AMD processor. I recently got the newest issue of Finlands leading computer and gaming magazine, MikroBitti. They had an article about putting together a minipc. They used an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ CPU, the mobo that comes with a Shuttle SN25P xPC AND 2x512Mb, 400MHz DDR2 ram. Now how is it possible then that they get it to work just fine when it "shouldn't"?

its not possible, it must have been a missprint
DDR2 is not supported on the amd 64 skt 939, and may never be supported (there are suggestions they will bring it onboard for the M2 but its not certain yet)

Yeah, it might be a missprint. I'll just have to wait until the next issue is out cause they usually write in the next months issue about the past months issues flawed info or missprints.

Well I have just sent them an email about this, now I'll just have to wait until they answer.
