So I was downloading insane amount of torrent files w/o knowing my HD space was running out. My computer crashed showing me the blue screen and doing its physical memory dump thing. It automatically rebooted the computer and I notice it wasn't really booting up properly. It would just loop whenever it's about to load windows XP. I've tried running recovery tool from the XP disc and didn't help so I finally decided to reformat the sucker and start clean. During the format I notice it stopped at 3%... I powered down my computer and now I'm wondering if the HDD is completely dead.... any suggestion? Don’t want to throw away the HDD if it's recoverable...
