Dead Monitor

i was just watching something on iplayer when my screen just when blank, at first i though it went into power saver mode so i moved the mouse and nothing happend. i turn it off and left it for a min and turned it back on and it worked then 10 seconds later it went off again.
iv tried my other GPU as my main video card but it still does it. i am now using my old 15 inch and so far its fine.
Anyone else ever had this? Do i need a need monitor?
 
So, it doesn't work with another computer or graphics card? You tried another monitor in the same computer / graphics card.

If it doesn't work, I'd say it was broke. How long have you had it, you could send it back under warrenty still?
 
Had exact same problem with a cheap 15" from Ebuyer, made by Medion, was £60 at the time.

I was watching some flash video, monitor cut out. never came back on again.

I didn't even think of the monitor and replaced the damn graphics card before I found out what the problem was! :rolleyes:

well i just got my dad to try it on his rig and same thing so i guess it's dead. i only got it last year so its still under warrenty, luckly, ill phone samsung and see what they say.

lol, looks like a good stress reliever :P, shame windows aint a physical thing, id thermite it if it was
 
Update: i just phoned Samsung and they're going to send someone out to give me a new monitor and take the old one away.
