Generally speaking, it's a fault in the pixel itself and cannot be fixed. They would have to replace the whole screen. However most warranties do not cover just one dead pixel so you would have to pay for it all.

This has nothing to do with newegg, it is only the manufacturer. Some are 10 pixels, some are 1.if you buy from newegg though it has to be like more than 6 dead ones before you can ship it back as faulty or rma it lol.
