dead/stuck pixel

Well i bought a new monitor, the asus PB278Q.

It's amazing so far, BUT.. there is a pixel in the CENTER of the screen that is a light blue. It's driving me nuts. In lieu of me returning the monitor for ONE pixel, any advice? I ran a video on youtube to fix it to no avail... did the pressure tap and rub to no avail... not sure if the pixel is dead or needs more tlc.

Any advice?

its possible to fix it with slight pressure from a narrow object like pen cap, etc. Although you may actually damage the screen even more.

you can even try this however: http://www.jscreenfix.com/

it may fix it by rapidly changing pixel color, just leave it on the area for 10 minutes or so.

other than that as it is stuck and not dead try the website first then others later such as heat, objects etc. if to no avail then you will sadly have to send the monitor back.

Im seeing a lot of people with your model and same issue. suggest ya get it back soon. think it was 30 days for a return.
